Five young Selangor players, Raimi Shamsul, Azrul Haikal, Aikmal Roslan, Fahmi Daniel and Fakrul Iman have been called up by head coach of the B-19 squad, Brad Maloney to join Malaysia’s U-19 training camp.

The training camp has started from yesterday and will resume until this 26^th July for three consecutive weeks at Wisma FAM, Kelana Jaya in preparation for the Final Round AFC 2020.

Some of the key players in last year's qualifying championship that play for Selangor 2 such as Firdaus Irman, Sikh Izhan Nazrel, Azrin Rusmini, Harith Haiqal, Mukhairi Ajmal, Luqman Hakim and Zikri  Khalili are expected to join the team in the next training camp on 10^th September.

Malaysia managed to become one of the 16 best teams in the AFC 2020 B-19 Championship Finals in Uzbekistan from October 14 to 31, 2020.

Malaysia's B-19 squad was voted in Group D with the 2014 edition champions Qatar, Tajikistan and Yemen.
